> gmanager is open source (MIT). There is no hosted SaaS plan from the project itself.

## Cost model

- **Software license:** MIT — free to use, modify, and self-host.
- **Infrastructure:** You pay for your own VPS or home server, electricity, and backups.
- **Support:** Community via GitHub issues; no mandatory subscription.

## What you run

- Docker Compose stack (API + web) on a host with Docker and `docker.sock` access for game containers.
- SQLite database embedded in the API process (no separate DB container required).

## Comparison note

Unlike multi-tenant panels (Pterodactyl hosting providers, etc.), gmanager is designed for **single-tenant self-hosting** on hardware you control.
